I heard about this concert about 4:30 on the radio Thursday night on the way home, rounded up husband and kids and headed downtown not sure what to expect being at Pioneer Park (due to growing up in that area during 80′s/90′s and one time driving up 400 s and hitting a bum who was drunk and ran in traffic and I was the lucky one to hit him, not my fault), however long time Modest Mouse fans had to go and see.
We arrived downtown around 5:30, found close parking and strolled in. Lots of vendors: food, beer, snow cones, pizza and misc clothing, etc.
The Park was Beautiful, I have never been able to enjoy the beauty until last night.
We looked outside the gates around 6:15 people were LINED up around the block and it was getting pretty tight closer to the stage. We headed to the Southeast back corner to sit with our kids and enjoy. It has been so long since I have attended a concert, I truly enjoyed the people watching, the crowds busting down the fence was a bit exciting, but most of all Modest Mouse was WONDERFUL, and I was very grateful to be there listening to them, great job…. Great way to bring life to that area, 2 thumbs up!
I am so impressed with this product, I only used once, and the results are great, I have been trying for weeks to get that thick nasty tartar like like substance off, I could scrub by hand and it would help a bit. So, I am very pleased, i will be washing all dishes in the cupboard with this!
Just got back from the store. I am going to try 2 new products, well new to me.
1) sprayway glass cleaner (no ammonia, they support breast cancer research, and the can is steel, no cfcs). I have tried vinegar for years, but always a residue for all my hard work.
2)Lemi shine, to remove hard water stains from dishes and dishwasher. I have tried vinegar also and baking soda (not at same time) didnt help. I used 7th generation and then went back to other stuff and a horrible coating was left on all my dishes, cannot get off. so fingers crossed these work!
I am sure they are not the best for my health, but hopefully not the worst. Fingers crossed, it would be nice if my pyrex could loose the nasty white film
I was thrilled to be able to participate in the Flea Market by Abode, here in Sugarhouse, Utah last April 2010. Studio 5 did a great clip on the piece, I even appear for a brief blip, so does my friend Cat!! Lots of fun! Thanks Abode!
